Nas- U Wanna Be Me This is a sick song, if you haven't heard it go listen to it NOW. From the 8 Mile soundtrack to, lol.
You lost your right to call anything dumb when you said Vanilla Ice was the best selling hip hop artist of all time.

Don't try and play dumb now: <div class="quote_poster">Quoting phunDamentalz to NTC regarding Clipse's album:</div><div class="quote_post">I'm starting to wonder ifyou even get what this hiphop is all about </div> <div class="quote_poster">Quoting phunDamentalz:</div><div class="quote_post">Vanilla Ice is the top-selling rap artist of all time</div> ? <div class="quote_poster">Quoting wikipedia:</div><div class="quote_post">He is known by his stage names: <u>2Pac and Makaveli.</u> He is recognized in the Guinness Book of World Records as the top-selling hip-hop artist, having sold over 73 million albums worldwide.</div>
<div class="quote_poster">A.F. Venom Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Don't try and play dumb now: ? </div> Okay, first off, "Freshville" lmao. I believe Vanilla Ice has the biggest selling "hip hop" album though and that is what I meant. And yeah anyone who can't appreciate Clipse is highly questionable. I've been listening to hiphop for a longtime baby and I'm a TRUE fan. the beats are ridiculous, the delivery is so strong it could compete in the world's strongest man competition on ESPN 2, so stop "Canal Street-ing my style". Canal Street is in NYC where you can get knock-off Prada bags and imitation Rolexes. This is the kind of verbal brilliane that is on that Clipse album that you don't get cause you haven't matured to a point where you can appreciate TRUE dopeness.....

The F-outta here, I just don't like their music.....don't question my knowledge. I'm still learning about hip hop every day, but Clipse's music is far from to hard for me to understand. Life After Death has sold more than that one Vanilla Ice album your talking about btw. Listen ing to: Jay Z- Takeover (song has been in my head all day)
Mobb Deep - Shook Ones Pt. II One of da best rap songs EVER ! You've hear of us, the official Queenbride murderes. Havoc & Prodigy for life.
^ Yeah, I never get tired of Shook Ones. That entire album is great. Eric B. & Rakim - Paid In Full Classic.
Listening to: Incubus - Made for TV Movie (They were a very mainstream band for a while, and that turned a lot of these esoteric music nuts off to them, but they're actually a bit underrated now, as they're one of the better bands around there and rarely get credit as legit musicians.)
They're new album is weak though. There's a reason people turned away from them. Anyways... Citizen Cope -- Son's Gonna Rise Beth Orton -- Conceived. Tracy Chapman -- Give Me One Reason The Presidents of the United States of America -- Body Portugal The Man -- AKA M80 The Wolf Strange Fruit Project Feat. Thesis -- Special Talk Talk -- I Believe In You Mos Def -- Umi Says Qwel Feat. Robust -- Art of War Deesa -- Mineshaft P.O.S. -- Music For Shoplifting Blue October -- Into The Ocean Bela Fleck -- The Sinister Minister India Arie -- There's Hope Raphael Saadiq -- What's Life Like Atmosphere -- Smart Went Crazy Groove Armada -- Purple Haze Zion I -- So Tall Hieroglyphics -- Don't Hate The Playa Darc Mind -- Visions of a Blue Cecil Otter -- Tine Man Purrs Like A Kitten

Anyways... </div> Ya' know, I'll agree with you on that, but I loved both A Crow Left of the Murder and Morning View. Even though their early stuff was their greatest, but I don't think they jumped the shark until their latest one. And hey, they can always bounce back. A lot of bands do. Listening to: Howard Stern on Sirius Internet Radio (Because Steve-O's on, and he's an entertaining interview)
I've beening listening to a lot of Mos Def. I've never really listened to him before, but my cousin burned me a disc of Black on Both Sides. I've been bumping it for the whole week now. My favorite tracks are Mrs. Fat Booty, Know That ft. Talib Kweli, and May-December which is an instrumental track
