You’re right he wasn’t. But when your team loses a particularly shitty game you don’t need to post a pic of you with “mood” like you’re proud of having your biannual good game. His “mood” should be that he’s pissed his team lost.
Man, we gotta stop nitpicking everything the guy does. He's a character who's clearly not mature yet. And same can be said about at least half our guys. At least he cares, which is more than you can say about Moe.
I didn't think that mood post was showing celebration....looked like he was screaming..FUCK if you ask me...the flexing is annoying...I think he's got a mirror addiction
The hate is so over-the-top for Meyers. He's playing well overall; sure he's making some bone-headed mistakes and not playing great defense, but he gives a shit, and he is taking and making his shots.
By my estimate, 75% of sports fans (and the populace in general) are incapable of using their own eyes and/or thinking for themselves. Instead, they're easily and willingly brainwashed by the talking heads of whatever medium they follow. This includes some very intelligent people I call friends. The talking heads rile up emotional, irrational hatred, and dudes like Meyers become easy scapegoats.
On the flip side of one of my earlier comments, it seems Meyers really needs to play with a high level of intensity to be focused enough to be effective. So if that means he yells and poses, if that's what it takes for him to be successful, I guess I can put up with it
5.5 years later... you either have it or you try to fake people out with cheesy pictures of what you think is you having it.
New saying for millennials? Those that can do, those that can't post silly shit on Twitter. I wrote him off after that silly fake documentary type video he made. I was embarrassed.
Made plenty of arguments for him. This year i am pretty much letting his play tell the story. It has been good. His numbers are up. Glad to see it. Hope it continues for him and the team. If he plays well he will either help them win or be more valuable for trade. Either way works for me.
He has actually had a good year so far. Numbers are up. Production is up. Defense is way better and he has been setting really good screens.
Per 36 minutes, Meyers has 20.3 PPG. I know Small Sample Size and not his real numbers, but it's funny
