Agreed. I think many are wore out and want to see him fail. Some act like the guy is a pedophile or something else evil.

Denver fans probably thought the same about Nurkic. How did that work out for them?

It is crazy. They simply want him to be bad because they have said he will never be good. Then they always put the little "Disclaimer"on there. Well if he could get good enough to trade????? So far this year his numbers are solid. Not greatness. But solid better than Robin Lopez type numbers with better that RoLo long ball shooting. Look at RoLo in his first 5 years. Then remember he came to Portland on his 6th year.

Robin Lopez and ML have not one thing in common as basketball players except being tall.

Not true. They are both excellent FT shooters for big guys. They actually have just about the same TS% - of course they get it in different ways.

I understand that. Meyers has better numbers and a way better outside shot. Go read some of the thoughts on him from his years in Phoenix. They absolutely wanted him gone. Same with the Hornets. When he came here people were all saying "Wrong Brother". He was the only rim protector we had and he made good. Without LMA, Batum, Mathews and Lillard? Lopez was pedestrian at best.
Lopez also now has 9 years in the league. Got some pretty good game going in Chicago.

Their games are nothing alike. This is what he's talking about. The difference being that Rolo actually has "a game".

He had so much game the Blazers got him for essentially a bag of peanuts and a milkshake.
The draft rights to Jeff Whitey and a second round pick. Plus cash.
You understand my point here right? You guys want to throw Leonard away for nothing and want to say "so what if he plays well", But he is starting to play the game. It took way too long for you. I understand that.

I always fear the Jermaine O'neal type trade. Not with Butters. And no, he's playing PRE-SEASON ball right now. If he has more than 5 good games this year, count me surprised.
Maybe then he'll boost his trade value.

I’m not saying Lopez is any good. I’m just not sure how you compare ML and Lopez’s stats is all.

Let's be honest... he's probably not going to get traded, so it's better to try to get him some PT to see if he is going to be useful.

When he has an off game with his 3 point shooting, Stotts should advise him to go inside and punch the opposing players nutsack.

It's probably unfair, but this is the place his NBA journey has led. He's a former lottery pick turned a backup big man and regular scapegoat. So why is Leonard the target of fans ire?

"I suppose the main reason is because I got paid a pretty good amount of money," said Leonard, who signed a four-year, $41 million contract in July 2016. "But that's just the sports world in itself."

“The fans are the least of my concern," he said. "I'm focused on me. I made 23 out of 25 in my normal three-point shooting drill. I shot well today in practice. I put in a ton of work this summer and I'm going to stay confident and play my game."

Could you imagine if Meyers played in front of a crowd even less forgiving than Portland’s? (aka most of them)

He would have a complete mental breakdown. All his quotes sound like he’s getting close.

MF how many blocks did you get? How many shots did you change? How many inside shots did you have?

    I'm sick of this MF...

Meyers is better this year....if for no other reason than rebounding..he's taken that to heart....I didn't like hearing the boos the other night...he played 8 minutes in that game....I hope he gets moved somewhere where he can start fresh...doesn't look like it's going to be here

All he talks about is shooting. That's not what a Center is for. I blame the coaches for misdirecting him, and not correcting him.
