I am a programmer for an anti virus company you've heard of. I lurk on Blazer boards... trying my best to follow the crowd around their numerous migrations. I run, (running blog The Last Six Miles) and spend time with my family. I used to build and fly RC airplanes... but don't have time anymore. I have a 6 month old girl that needs to play bouncy... so that is all I have time for.
I was going to say something inappropriate but funny. I'll censor myself. Anyways, I'm unemployed after recently graduating from OSU with an Honors Degree in Business with options in MIS and Management. At first I was being a bit too picky with job opportunities, but now I'm more flexible...seeing as I don't have a job. Hmm.
School, Guitar, Sports (Ducks Football and Blazers BBall... the two best sports in Oregon). I smoke and occasionally do drugs. Don't really party, used to in high school.
I just went to Amsterdam this weekend because I was missing my Oregon weed and hadn't smoked in over 2 months. That said I recommend it to anyone the city itself is amazing with a great layout for walking and exploring and there really is something for everyone, from shopping to sight seeing to the redlight and the many coffee shops. The weed is on par and even better then what you see in eugene and you just have such a large selection that you can't go wrong.
I was just there Nov 1st-2nd. On my Europe trip. Pretty damn fun place. Did you hit up the "Banana Bar" in the red-light district? I must say, the bartenders there have great writing, and they don't use their hands....
Gambitnut, if I were in the PDX area I'd sure contact Free Geek. I work as a tech editor in large biotech company. Also run a custom dessert business "The Cake Lady". Do a lot of general cooking. Frustrated by fact that local friends are all either vegetarian or not adventurous eaters, which puts a cramp on my dinner parties. Maybe if I get the transfer to Hillsboro I can find some Oregonians willing to come to dinner parties and eat something other than steak or roast chicken or vegetarian lasagna! Read, mostly science, social science/current events, and food books. Single, 3 cats. Orlando, Rudy, Margot - Rudy and Margot are siblings, Orlando is their biological uncle but all 3 think he's their mom. Watch Blazers on TV. Working on losing weight, down 35 lbs - from size 14 to size 8, still more to go. Take a lot of pictures. Garden, roses, vegetables, herbs, fruit trees, drought tolerant ornamentals (this is California, in 3rd year of drought). Participate in organizing Gay Pride Parade and other actions. Season tix to the Oakland A's and also to San Francisco Ballet. Attend One Day University (a day of lectures by top profs from around the country on assorted topics). Have crushes on Rachel Maddow and Tara VanderVeer (Stanford basketball coach, embarrassing since I went to Cal). 5'6", brunette, blue eyes, near sighted. Am I leaving anything out?
I'm a writer and speaker. I write a weekly column for USA TODAY.com and have written 15 books, mostly about small business, but also, The Complete Idiot's Guide to the NBA. I also speak at conventions, to corporations, etc. Aside from that, it's the 5 Bs for me: Basketball, my Babies (13 and 15 now!), Books, my "Babe "(my sweet wife), and well, you can guess at the fifth B... Love movies, love politics, love the Blazers
Living in San Diego. Getting my MBA, considering getting my law degree as well. Playing XBOX 360. Hanging out with my girl.
Exactly what I'd expect from someone with a whore of a mother. Then again your a Blazers fan, you're a good guy for having such a large figure while maintaining a short stature. You're like a hybrid of Louie Anderson and Danny DeVito. It's awesome.
No she just left you judging people based on their physical apperance . . . sounds like a real soild foundation of parenting you grew up in. I know it sounds illogical to someone with your background, but you should try looking beyond physical apperance when judging someone, you would be surprised how much more there is to learn about the person. Try it batman . . . it's eye opening.
LMAO I think me and HCP are doing satire and you just took it too seriously. I'm actually obese and have a wooden spoon for an arm. Nobody should catch feelings from sports forums, nobody.
I've been planning a Christmas/Anniversary extravangza for my family since July 2007. Everyone is coming to my place for Christmas, then we're going to Disneyland, and then we're going on a cruise to celebrate my parents' 40th wedding anniversary. They'll all be here on the 23rd. Can't wait!
