I am the graphic artist for a screen print and embroidery company in Sherwood. I am a member of the Timbers Army. I brew my own beer and have gotten pretty damn good at it. I even grow my own hops to use in it. I love to BBQ and was told while stationed in Florida in the Air Force that I make the best BBQ a Yankee could ever hope to make. I love to play computer games and was once offered a $5,000 sponsorship to play competitive Counterstrike. I have now toned back the nerdy ways and am married, and have a dog and a cat. I played basketball in the Air Force and won 2 base championships on 2 different bases, but after an ACL fix I haven't quite been the same. I also play ultimate frisbee.
I just started working on figuring out different cell signaling pathways up at OHSU. First job I ever had that I truly loved. Trying to decide what to do next, go to grad school for teaching or science, or just keep working while I am enjoying myself. Aside from that, I spend a lot of time just enjoying the good things in life, friends, music, family and learning about whatever is striking my fancy at the moment. Currently, I am reading Havana Nocturne, a piece of nonfiction about how the mob took over cuba and how Castro took it back. A real interesting read. No girl at the moment, which is OK for the moment, but needs to change soon. Biking, and starting tomorrow, working out at the gym (haven't been to a gym in 5 years). I play a fair amount of Poker online, but only small stakes. That's it.
