I don't think they have depended on Duncan, Tony Parker and Stephen Jackson have been playing great lately...

It has been tony parker and Sjax who have been doing the load with the scoring...TP has attacked so much...big props to him...i thought kidd was suppose to be a really good defender. But tony as gone to the basket at will against him

Its because Tony Parker is fast, if he wasnt his career would probably be over, well he wouldnt be as good as he is. Tim Duncan has to score. period.

Yeah thats why hes good, hes the fastest player in the league, thats also the reason why AI is good. The last two games he really has been doing a great job on Jason Kidd, hes making him take wierd shots. Despite the 30 pts by Jkidd, hes been doing a good job.

I think that Parker and SJax are great, too...but it seems like the Nets were attacking more at Duncan, and the others were still playin the game, but they still loss...due to bad shots and freethrows...Every single shot does count.

Make his fts. The whole Spurs team has to turnover the ball less.

less turnovers.. yea, most of their turnovers were pretty much self inflicted. like when timmy stepped out of bounds with the ball (there might have been a push, i dono). that was a mental breakdown

they wont make as many turnovers has they did in game two. no chance. that was a stunning amount of turnovers. theres no defense the nets ccan throw at duncan that he hasnt already seen before and triumphed over. he had a hard time in game 2 whether it was lack of focus or just a bad game or what but does anybody really think the nets are throwing any brilliant recvolutionary defensive scheme at him that no one has ever thought of before? they and theyre coaches arnt even smart enough to do that. as long as duncan parker and the rest of the starting five of the psurs dont get killed in some horrible accident theyll win. TD doesnt really have to "do" anything different other than play like the mvp that he is.

Definetely...if they keep having turnovers, they're going to be swept--well not swept, just won over...they need to keep it in a heavy rotation, to keep making the Spurs second guess what they're going to do, but keep changing it. Oops...I'm talking about the Nets now...

Spurs>> well, let's see, um, I think that they just need to handle the ball like Parker did in the 4th quarter, he realized that he needed to be on the 3 FGs in order to win this game...so pretty much they just need good harcore defense, and good shooting percentage, and they'll win it all (except for the 2nd game).

Duncan couldn't make FTs in warm-ups...it's just terrible watchin him shoot them....clang clang clang...his teammates miss the first ones but make the second...they need to make both of them...

Bad free-throws or not...his team is going to win the NBA title...so really who cares if he misses FT's 8)

haha. the fact that they can win while missing free throws proves how good they are. yea, they've come up short a few games, but they havent depended on free throws too much

Well the missed free throws helped the Spurs in the end. Great play but Duncan getting behind KMart, getting the offensive rebound, letting the clock run down then let the clutch Manu Ginobili hit the shot that gave the Spurs the game.

Sometimes i think the spurs tease the other team in the playoffs..by letting them think they have won a game and will go on and win the series..proof of that..the series v suns..after suns stole homecourt...dallas too....also the L.A series when they brought it back to 2-2

    does anyone else think this?
