They at least make it more exciting for the fans...by having to wait longer

yea. as we said. this series lasts only as long as the spurs want it to. red auerbach used to toy with opponents more than anyone letting them think they had gained th emomentum only to exploit their weaknesses and crush them in the end

To be honest i'm not too bothered about the other sports teams in detroit...even when the red wings were winning the stanley cup year after year i never really kept in touch with it...basketball is the only true sport i love.Just good to finally see them being a great team 8)

yea. the pistons were pretty awful for a while. how can u livein detroit and not be a hockey fan. the red wings are a much safer bet for contention or title than the pistons

even if the pistons sign garnett they wont be as safe a bet to contend for a title as the wings. maybe u dont follow hockey but your detroit red wings are a dyansty and a front runner every year. theyve won like 4 of the last 7 cups or sumting

they arent great right now but chicago is one of the all time great sports citys. i think chicago, detroit, philly and boston are all better than new york sports wise because theyve got the teams in every major sport and every team has an equall or similarly vast fanbase
