Right now the Cavs are resting up. I think they can take NJ. NJ is the only team in the east that couldn't sweep the oposing team, and it will effect them mentally. The Bulls and Detroit are going to beat the hell out of each other, and that makes it an easier matchup for the Cavs when they meet the winner of that series. Look to see Cavs vs Suns, with Larry and Nash going head to head. Z has layed of the alcohol for this years playoffs, and he is looking better than ever. Golden State MIGHT hold on and win this first round. Anyone who thinks they are a contender to go to the Finals though is smoking some serious crack.

Since the Lakers have been eliminated, I'd like to see the Warriors and Pistons compete in the Finals. It would be great to watch Don Nelson and the Warriors rob Chris Webber of a championship, after what he did to the Warriors franchise.

Now there's some tension for ya. Highly unlikely though. Yes, tracymcgrady_01, you don't have to reply to me and say "jazz will not make the finals. houston will win everything."
I also think Warriors-Detroit would be great. The games would be amazing with all the offensive firepower and theres a lot of other storylines (Don Nelson vs. Chris Webber, Stephen Jackson back in the Pallace of Auburn Hills, J-Rich is from Saginaw so hes got a lot of support from the Detroit area). Oh and lets not forget the W's are 2-0 against the Pistons this year, but regular season record means nothing, right (go ask the Mavs)? Only way that happens is if the Warriors beat the Jazz (which is very possible) and the Suns beat the Spurs then the W's somehow beat the Suns (not likely but definitely not impossible).
Jazz making the Finals isn't that far of a reach. Jerry Sloan is a genius. They better pray Phoenix gets past San Antonio though because I can't see anyone else beating San Antonio in a 7-game series right now. My initial prediction looks like it may pan out though. Detroit vs. San Antonio. Get ready for NBA Borefest 2007.
