For some reason I caught a lot of Magic games last season (Don't ask why I watched... It was awful) but I saw Udrih put together a few nice games there. According to his time in Orlando he averaged 10.2 ppg and 6.1 apr but, he shot .408 from the field. He shot .396 from 3 though.
Okay, we have Wright. Now we just need to get Jermaine and maybe a Devin Harris and i think we're looking pretty good.
I think we are leaving 1 spot open this year (just a hunch) so it is either 3rd string PG, or 3rd string C as our last signing. I think it is going to be PG guys. Remember, Freeland can play C in a pinch.
My thoughts exactly. So then, the question (to me) is, what primary skill-set we want in our 3rd string PG?
I believe NoVoodoo mentioned Earl Watson as a guy who would fit that description nicely... If we could afford him, Harris would be perfect.
My only concern is that he might be too good to be inactive some games and not play others even with being active.
Pretty sure the only reason he has stayed in the league is because of his D, well, for the first few years at least. I could be very, very wrong though.
Okay it looks like we have around 1 mil cap space and the min mle (2.5) left. Who do we go after now? Are we going to trade?
I would really like an upgrade at the 2 guard. I'm quite disappointed the Blazers didn't go after OJ Mayo or Andre Iguodala. With that said I think they did pretty good though.
I am sooooo glad we didn't get oj. I can also see why we wouldn't go after Iggy either (too much salary). Iggy is for a team on the mid playoff area. A player they need to get over the hump. Currently we aren't there yet
