I've noticed for a while that there are a lot of empty seats at Moda, and the energy definitely isn’t what it use to be. Our crowd support has fallen off a cliff for awhile now.

Have you noticed that too? What could be the reasons for this?

That’s what happens when you tank.
They have to rebuild a winning culture and that takes winning.

Too many people watching on Root. Gotta expand the blackouts to dial that shit beck.

The team is fucking boring dude. We're still smack on that treadmill. It's extremely hard to get excited about a team that's not going anywhere.

I don't know about anyone else but after the last couple years being in large crowds isn't a big attraction....cough, cough...sniffle...sneeze....
Man, everybody in the fast food restaurant was coughing yesterday. Couldn’t wait to get the heck out of there.

It has been since Covid that the crowd has seemed smaller, so I think you are on to
Something there.

I've lost interest in live events for the most part. After the covid isolation I got used to not really caring that much as before. Also we were programmed to stay away from people as they are germ farms, so interactions with strangers is less desirable.

Plus everything is more expensive and the whole of experience of going out isn't as intriguing as before especially with crime and homelessness seemingly worse and a not so great economy.

That will change after you move to Branson.

This season, I've been to two games. Both had tons more energy than the past two years (which isn't surprising.)

I think moda center has ruined the experience. I’ve been a club level season tickets holder for 5 years. They took out the $30 credit for each ticket and they snuck it in the season ticket rebewell email under “parking”…I was pissed

Mediocrity over such a long period of time. We've seen this movie and until the stars change/grow/develop, the movie isn't likely to either.

I don't see how you think you've "seen this movie" given the major change in roster and the injury to Dame early on. Unless you're tired of Dame...there's not much resembling any other roster in the last decade and if you haven't seen growth from Sharpe, Ant or even Watford....not sure what you're watching. There is also way more parity in the league than I can possible ever remember so I'm saying ...mediocre is a dated adjective that doesn't apply here.

Haven't been to a game in years. Riots, Covid, Carmelo, Ariza, inflation, and the shitty music at games all contributed to varying degrees.

I use to drive over the mountains to take my daughter to a couple games a year. Now she is out of state at college and no more going to the games.

Are they still largely built around 2 smallish guards who are better with the ball in their hands, are rarely as good together as they are individually, and don't play much defense?

Sounds awfully familiar to me....

injuries are a big X factor in all that....I think given how we're limping into Xmas...we're way better top to bottom than you do I guess but hey....enjoy the season..also the league is better in the West than maybe ever

I would say there is a lot more equality with a lot of teams, than it is better than ever.

Wasn't there a year when 7 or maybe even 8 teams won 50 games in the WC? Right now there are only 3 teams on pace to win 50.
