No offense, but you don't know what you're talking about.

1.) We'd give up $8M in cap space, not $10M
2.) Advanced stats say Bogut is a better rim protector than Dwight, Whiteside, and Horford. He has a DBPM of greater than 5 the past few seasons, leading the league in two of those years. He's also getting paid half of what they'll get this offseason.
3.) If KD wants to go to the Warriors, then they'll be able to move Bogut regardless. There's no way they wouldn't be able to trade him to 1 of the 29 teams in the league. So since it's inevitable, we should benefit from it.

One of the worst ideas you've read on this board? You've been a member for 5 days. Don't come at me thinking I don't know what I'm talking about rook :-)

If Niel settles for him at the very start of free agency then he deserves to be fired. He's a plan G type of guy, not plan A.

    This article cracked me up:

5 Roster Moves The Los Angeles Clippers Need To Make

    "
    4. Get Aldrich And Johnson To Opt In"

Evidently, Fansided is the new BleacherReport.

Alrdich is about to turn 28 and has a player option good for $1.2 million next season. He could take that option and remain with the Clippers, or he could opt out and make 2x next season what he's made in his entire six year NBA career. Gee, I wonder what he'll do...

Assuming Plan A is Whiteside then Plan B would be Howard, IMO. Or reverse the names.
After failing at both Plan A and Plan B move onto Sanders & Williams.
If that doesn't go anywhere pull out of Free Agency and start working trades - DMC, Monroe, Rubio/Pek.
If that doesn't work then pick up a couple FA scraps on bargain contracts and wait for an in-season trade.

If you can't land Howard or Whiteside, throw all the cash at Mahimi and Ryan Anderson and call it a day.

I would hate it if that's the direction we went.
