Well, I'll say one thing. I bet no one leaks anything about the blazers, ever, while Sheriff Olshey is around.

    i.e. we'll have to wait.

For that kind of scratch, they better come wrapped around the naked body of a super-model!

We should offer a max contract to Hedo Turkoglu, and when he's about to sign, rip the pin out of his hand and throw it against the wall, and say....nuh-uh, I don't think so!

    1. We officially sign Aminu and Davis
    2. We possibly tender an offer sheet to a RFA such as McDaniels, or another player we are after that happens to be a RFA. (We won't go after Kanter...when we lost Aldridge that went out the door. We are gonna look to sign young athletic players with potential and a high ceiling, Kanter doesn't fit the picture.)
    3. We round out the roster with players from the summer league.
    4. We don't bring over Diez this year.

Olshey said this would be a "retooling", not a rebuild. However, so far this retooling is eerily similar in appearance to a rebuild.

Unless we're planning on giving 25m or more to McDaniels and summer league players we'll have to do something more substantial to reach the minimum team salary of 63m.

Maxing out an offer sheet to Tristan Thompson will mean CLE is paying Prokhorov-level lux tax. And I know Quicken is a fine company, but Gilbert (to my knowledge) doesn't have hordes of mafia-run mining operations to fall back on when his first couple billion gets blown...

Not worth it in my opinion, even if he was available...

Gosh, what happened to all the wings in the league?

Tristan is great at D (and rebounding) but man he is horrible at O. Is he worth MAX? Ok, I know the answer to this. Most who get MAX aren't so forget that question. I would be leery though. Remember that he switched shooting hands for a season or two?
