    Also i'm confused, does our team still only value guys that shoot threes? If so, last I heard Gilbert Arenas called and he needed more shoes

    Well Thompson was previously close to an agreement with Cleveland that was near the max; no chance they don't match IMO. I like the idea of being the annoying team screwing with other franchises restricted free agents.

    Maybe he's too young for the quick rebuild we are trying. Dame is 25 so he has basically two years until he hits his prime then it'll be downhill. Hopefully a slow decline but its not like we have 5 years to sit around and collect lottery picks.

    I think the quick rebuild will only come in a trade. None of these FAs will "move the needle".

    I changed my mind on Kanter. I don't think he's really that much more talented offensively than Kaman, and Kaman is a better defender/rebounder. I know he's young, but it seems like we'd be signing a Kaman-level player to the max.

    Maybe this is it and we're just going to wait until the season starts to do trades.

    I know most Blazer fans including me are hoping there is a better move coming. But if not I'd rather see the team do nothing than make a bad move. We have until next years draft to use the cap space.

    Swaggy P is available for cheap as a 3-and-not-really-much-D guy. Then again, I'm not sure my rooting for laundry extends to someone who lets Iggy Azalea sit courtside.
