What if we stay with Davis and Aminu? Thats it.... If a team does not fill its cap space can that money be applied into the next season?

That would be nice, but we're not talking about rollover minutes here.

No. The excess gets distributed amongst the team evenly. We have until the end of season (maybe trade deadline?) To reach the minimum

That is a good point and strategy.
However at what dollar amount does an asset become a liability?
He is listed at 6'6" 200. Crabbe is 6'6" 210. Who is better? KJ I assume on defense. Crabbe on offense.
I don't know enough about KJ to know how much he is worth. Should we make him the highest paid player on the team?

    Hell no.
I was a huge fan & proponent of drafting KJ as a late 1st/early 2nd round pick. At most he is worth $2M a year.
These people who want to sign him to a MLE (or above) contract are ludicrous.

People thought we were crazy for signing Wes to the deal we did, and it turned out to be a steal.

$6-7mil/year is about to be the new norm for guys that may be your 8th/9th guy. Salaries are exploding.

The people who have to shell out $100+ a seat can really feel that .

I didn't say it was right. That being said, with the cap jumping like it did, it says that the NBA brand is healthy and people are already spending a lot of money on the NBA and their products.

    Perhaps moreso than expected.

I and you love it. Many of my friends don't give a shit about the NBA. They are NFL homers. However, I do not know anyone who participates in Olympic curling
