I like that we have our front court for the foreseeable future with Nurk and Collins. I like how Aminu improved his shooting. I like how Harkless matured. I like the potential of Baldwin. I love Dame. That’s what I got.
I liked how Davis came back from injury. Loved the fight that Zack developed. He’s going to be hand full in a couple years if not next. I liked that we are tracing pretty well since the rebuild started.
Opinions vary. Mine happens to match those of some fairly knowledgeable people who know a bit more about basketball than you do. In this case i will stick with my opinion. Because Pat has shown tremendous "Perseverance" and "Tenacity". He will continue to play basketball either here or somewhere else and continue to improve. He will also have a very nice NBA career.
I can see PC being one of those role players that could play for 10 years or more in the league. Never being a starter but a player a lot of teams would like to have around with his versatility and likely at a bargain cost. He may not help a lot at times, but he also really doesn't hurt you. If he can become a more consistent shooter he could make a step forward and a better contributor. He also appears to have a high basketball IQ.
Sorry but no where does it say doing the same thing. IT says remaining steadfast. You can change things up and still have perseverance. "I will not quit until I figure this out, no matter how many modifications I must make".... That is perseverance..... Apples to oranges man. Not the same thing.
How can that offend you? Your definition is vague and you are inferring something that is not. See above...^^^
So what do you do now that the season got cut short so abruptly? Is the team sending you to cover SL? How does this playoff loss compare with the ones you've seen in the past? Like people say after that MEM series a few years back, everyone knew the writing was on the wall about breaking up the team. Did the plane ride back seem any different? Did anyone fly home on a private charter?
This loss caught everybody by surprise, no joke. I saw some shell shocked faces on that plane. Hadn't seen that before. Interestingly enough, there aren't as many highs and lows as most think on the plane after wins and loses. Stay pretty chill most of the time. As far as The HCP and what he's up to......summertime and fall is my HBO fight season. Usually don't start til the big annual Cinco de Mayo fight. So I actually have about 10 days off. Much needed time to hang with the FAM and help out around the casa. Aside from fights, I have the normal Timbers/Thorns games, couple golf tourneys but this year I will be doing all the Seahawks preseason games. I have done one or two in the past, but they contacted me to do all 4 or 5 this year, which will be fun. Definitely slows down for me and it's much needed. #MrMomLife That was one up and down crazy season for sure!
I asked Dame if he wanted to use some of my Delta miles to fly home that night like LA and he rolled his eyes and walked off!
When you had your house remodeled, did you have your siding replaced/upgraded? Looking for a solid GC to give me a bid on my new house.
I agree Cup. Also I think Stotts likes him to the very reasons you pointed out. I expect him back next year, just a wild guess?
Many things I liked this season. I am glad Nurk fever came back down to earth and we did not sign him to a huge contract last year. Napier and PC got some playing time and showed they can contribute. Not stars, but anything off our bench is nice. Crabbe was not really missed at all. Dame seemed to take it to another level for most of the season. Collins was ready to play earlier than most thought and got minutes. Aminu and Davis also seemed to progress. Part of the season was nice for Harkless. We still have not paid the luxury tax.
I agree. Pat is a good role player, and great to have off the bench. He's smart. Makes few mistakes. Makes lots and lots of hustle plays, often in crunch time. He's cheap and he will continue to be. We need more Pats on this team, not fewer.
