Maybe the most insane thing about the All-Star weekend is that it doesn't just rotate on a 30 year cycle or something like that (30 years seems like a long time, but you get the idea). The NBA should be promoting every city and every city should be proud to host. They could incorporate the home team and do all this cool shit. Instead, it's in one of the most dystopian cities in the world that doesn't even have a team.

Wasn't it in Indy?

Both 3-point contests were great. Only saw the dunk contest just to see Mac McClung (didn't watch last year's). There seems to be a lot of discussion about how to improve the ASG. A lot of discussion that I've seen is revolved around how to incentivize the players to play harder. I don't think these players should be more financially motivated to play.

This might sound radical (and I'm prolly in the minority with this), but Silver should consider handing one or two-game suspensions to players who don't even look they're trying to participate on some conduct detrimental to the integrity of the league type of shit. Other from that, I'm at the point where I'm fine if they get rid of All-Star Weekend altogether, use the week as a mini bye week and have the trade deadline during that week. Idk.

At 64, I am near the end of watching professional Title games of any sport. Haven't watched a Bball, or NFL title game in over 10 years.

The throating I receive from audio and visuals of sports using their platform for racial, political, and religious footing, has me gagging for my last breath.
It is so far removed from the game, that it is simply no longer enjoyable. I spend the entire time muting commercials, pregame, interviews, and especially
.....half time. That shit show that the NFL now drags on at half time of the SB is horrendous. I have zero interest in seeing cameo's of Taylor Swift, or Spike
Lee, or any other known individual to increase viewership demographic and ratings numbers. I think I have watched my last SB.

Remember, it is the fans who drive this. I don't completely blame the networks, they are merely providing the content that the fans are swallowing whole. Alas, the only
response I can give, is my vote. By no longer watching, I cast my vote. It won't matter to sports, but it matters to me.

If you went to see Starship Troopers 2 expecting it to be as good as Godfather 2….. well you’re gonna be disappointed. If you expect our Blazers this season to win 60 games, well you’re gonna be disappointed.
If anyone ever expects to watch an allstar weekend and see a quality product out there, well………

i believe you are severely undervaluing starship troopers 2.... but thats probably just me... coolest thing from the weekend was the court imo. but honestly seems like itd be a headache to actually play on let alone if youre color blind....

Edit: Also didnt watch it at all just highlights and memes from social...
