Perhaps. First the term must be understood and defined in commonly accepted language. Not confused with religion or class. Perhaps even color as we know of racism being practice on people of the same color as the target.

The titanic offers an evocative example of classism at its worst

Tell us how you experienced racism like people of other races.

I too did not follow suit with my fathers choices. He was a good man, but he was ignorant in certain measures. It hurts to admit he was racist. I feel that deep down he did not embrace such disregard, but parroted his own father's views. It is a sad truth, and I have learned greatly from it.

However, the observed racism by the Japanese against the Ainu may indeed be classicism even though they are of another race.
So how do you define the difference if there is a difference?

You misquoted me. I never said I experienced racism at the levels people of other races have. Reread the sentence.

I have experienced racism on small levels, but nothing to the extent people of other races have

Its both racism and classicism, two different things. It just happens to be one circumstance where both are in play.

I'd have to say living alone in Hawaii and a small village in Taiwan when I first moved there, I experienced alienation from the norm many times...not in a violent fashion but a more subtle form...in the village in Taiwan I first moved to I was the only westerner in the village except for a priest from New Zealand..I remember walking in the market and children running away from me in fear....seen babies cry when they were near me in fear having never seen anyone like me....had children tug at the hair on my arms and say.....monkey man in Chinese. Later I lived on the eastern coast and played music in a Taiwanese trio..we submitted a demo to the national battle of the bands and when we arrived for tryouts...I was not allowed to perform because of my appearance..I was replaced by a Malaysian guitarist who spoke less Chinese than me but looked the part...I dated a girl a few times who's grandfather chased me from her door with a cane shouting barbarian ghost....I have been a minority and it was eye opening to say the least

It is my observation, these are your observations capped with your judgement.
But you use a word you can not define nor reliably define when it is correctly use.

I hope we can do better.

I think the definition is clear. I don't see how its confused with religion and class. Internalized racism? Yeah it exists too.

I know when it is correctly used. I may not have experienced much of it first hand, but I have seen it. I have seen how terrible it is. I know what it is in that way. And I call it by its name. I feel I have defined it as best I can. It is hate manifested as the product of fear.

Judgment? I am not judging my dad. I understand why he had certain views. I don't blame him. I blame a society that has perpetuated such views. That is not to say I do not hold him responsible for his words and actions. I am simply calling it what it is.

Do you know both are in play or you do not know which it is?

words are just words but it's not the word or definition...it's how they are used or the effect they have when directed at someone...a word used with serious intent or contentious aggression is defined by tone more than the dictionary...the same word can be used in sarcasm or humor with a different result.
    ex: It's going to rain!
    It's going to rain?
It's going to rain. one may mean excitement...one disappointment and one inquisitive...all containing the exact same words. Racist is a word I seldom use but when I do, it's used as a negative thing.

Do you have a definition better than the dictionary?

Can you express this definition that will attract a consensus acceptance in this forum. Exclude me if you like.

    Nodoubt you are correct.
So then when the word is flung out there, the meaning is of the intent of the user. Do I have the hang of it?

    Must I repeat my self

Hate against a person based on race, manifested as the product of fear.
