ok...but I didn't say I'd prefer Hart over Thybulle. I was just comparing them as players. ok, again....but that's just typical variance (until it's not) what you're doing, in my view, is distilling the comparison down to just this 12 game season. Down to the smallest sample where Thybulle has an advantage; because when you take Hart's 37 game NY career and Thybulle's 34 game Portland career, Hart shot better from three.
I went back and looked. Harts shooting year to year is wildly variant. His first year in LA he shot almost 40% and then he fell off. He never shot even 35% in New Orleans. His first year here he shot well, and then he fell off. His first year in NY he shot really well, and now he’s falling off. You can’t discount that. It’s a trend everywhere he has been.
