I bike in the summer and snowmobile in the winter from Lake of the Woods to Fish Lake and Brown Mountain.
You might be talking about a different "Fish Lake". There is the one I mentioned in the Rogue-Umpqua Divide Wilderness and one south in the Sky Lakes Wilderness. The second one is close to Lake of the Woods, so I am assuming that is what you are talking about. I have been to both though, and they are both beautiful! Also, someone mentioned fishing earlier. The best Oregon lake that I have had the joy of fishing at is split two ways. Over by MARIS's home is the Newberry Crater. Inside of the old extinct volcano are two lakes, Paulina and East Lake. They are full of HUUUUUUGE trout. Trust me on that.
