    No changes ...THIS TIME. ;)

But you do know if we would have pulled the Dallas game out... that we won overall except for when it counts that we would be the tied for the 8th seed? I think we can turn the corner sooner than later on how to close games out and if so, I dont see why we cant make the playoffs if the team stays healthy.

Your just playing the role of Debbie Downer right now and I know your foolin with me because youve already made it clear your in a wait and see mode.

I think that tanking per se, where you're looking to the lottery to get players to be the core of the Lillard era Blazers, probably isn't a large part of Olshey's plan. The goal that’s been expressed is to get guys on the same career arc as Dame. Even the best draft picks take a few years to develop. I think the plan involves trades and free agency to get more established players. Not to say that a top pick doesn't factor in either as a trade asset or a longer term investment to be a key player a few years down the line. But I'm of the opinion that the Blazers are looking to be back in the playoff mix next year, not 2 to 3 years down the road.

My acceptance is at a "I want Ben Simmons but I doubt the team will end up with him, so lord please let him not go to the Lakers or Houston" level.
