None really the rest of the year, maybe Glass Onion, the Knives Out sequel but I'm just not excited by any of the standard awards fare and have no desire to see any of the super hero movies. I keep waiting for the fans to hit their fatigue point with these Marvel/DC movies, since most of them are not good at all, but people keep lining up to take them in.
I don't really blame you .. it's crazy how polarizing that movie is. I remember being in the theater and thinking ... "what in the actual fuck did they do with this movie?" While Johnson deserves a good amount of the blame, I also put a lot of that on Abrams for not having a clear and defined vision of where that trilogy should go. Just handing it off to another director, who has a history of making outside the box flicks, and telling him to do his thing was obviously a horrible idea.
I didn't realize there were five of his Transformers movies ... remember watching the first one and loving it and then the 2nd was one of the worst movies I've ever seen and was out on the franchise from there. I'm assuming this is the start of the DinoBots, not sure if I'll give this one a watch but Bay not directing gives me a little hope!
Just saw Violent Night. Fun movie. Santa Claus is coming to town. You better not be on the naughty list.
Hadn't heard of this one at all until the trailer showed up in my Youtube feed, after watching the preview it's now on the must see list for me and the wife this weekend!
It's definitely an interesting one. I enjoyed it. I can't really think of another movie to relate it to, to be honest.
