Same story with me. I bought a good protective case so its undamagable now. lol how can gum break an ipod?
it was literally COVERED in sticky gum...you never know. it could slip inside the seams and fuck with it
I take care of my iPod but you can't avoid occasional water or drop. It might freeze or something but it won't break. Resetting is very simple too.The worst thing was sitting on it by accident. I thought the LCD would crack but it didn't surprisingly.

If so, I don't think sitting on your iPod would do anything unless you were 320 lbs. ...you're not obese are you?
How so? I use my sister's Nano with the Nike Sport Kit. It's great for running.I'd wouldn't advocate it for people that use it as their primary MP3 player though.

I weigh 120 dripping wet.Skins and armor are the ugliest most expensive unnecessary thing in the world. Half the time they don't work cause water seeps through the cracks, the silicon gets dirty, or the shell makes it bulky. And unless you plan on throwing your iPod across the room, the hard shell is unnecessary. If you buy one, you're just wasting money. The only accessory worth buying for an iPod is a Bose stand and only if you don't have an alarm clock or good speakers and maybe a screen scratch protector (only accessory I have left).

Obviously it wouldnt do much If I dropped the iPod in the bathtub but I've accidently dropped it a few times and it protects it from breaking there, not to mention the Nano is too small itself so this gives it some decent size instead of 'making it bulky'

I don't have an IPod or mp3 player. I have a radio that can play CD's. I just download mp3's from the internet, burn them to CD's, and that's how I roll.

I have a friend who rips me the stuff w/ limewire. He's got an IP scrambler, and after he dl's it and emails it to me, he deletes it. My friend has ways
