If I'm thinking of the music you're talking about, I'm pretty sure it's for the players benefit. They play certain songs when the team is on defense to make the other team feel rushed or throw their rhythm off, and songs on offense to help the guys get in a rhythm. Every team does it and they've been doing it since the organ players at places like MSG. It never bothered me. Honestly I wish they'd play more music. I think football would be even better if they just played rock music throughout the whole game.

    +1.

I'd venture a guess that not many of today's 20 something African American listens to Bob Seger to get into the zone, so why are they playing that crap when the home team has the ball? Is the ADD of fans that prevalent that they need the bombardment to stay interested?

That was entertaining. I've read a lot of Terry Pratchett. I normally don't read short stories because a normal book is over too soon. I just get into the characters and it's over. I'm reading 3 books right now. One is the last book of a 4 series book, another is the final book of a trilogy that is 1500 years after the history of another trilogy I read, and the last one is the tenth book in a ten book series. Anyway, that was funny.
