Does that save money on for "cap" space.

Trade him to Las Vegas. We're getting a team if you didn't know!

Yes, Stotts like Meyers and experience so much that, while Swanigan was in the regular rotation, Meyers wasn't even put into the game right away in the 4th while we led by 50pts.
Also we already have an open roster spot to "tryout potential players"

    Think before you post FAMS

I don't think Stotts likes Meyers. He started Aminu at center rather than Meyers, and Meyers barely got any playing time last year even after we lost Vonleh, Davis and Nurk.

Let's say our depth at Center goes Nurkic > Davis > Collins > Leonard.... We should probably not worry about it much anymore. Take at the look of the 4th center on every other team.

I really hope Olshey can shed his salary. I'd really like to use that money to retain Pat and Davis. We might have to do something similar as what we did with Crabbe, trade him for another bad contract that is half as bad, then waive and stretch. Not sure if there is some kind of limit to how much you can use that provision though.

Seriously right now Meyers is averaging 19.6pts and 13.1reb both per 36!

Bench him, use him only during 50+ point blowouts, or in case of injury (god forbid) to Nurk or another big. Wait, for the right trade and send him away to become an all star.

I apparently made the mistake of assuming people would understand that after 1 game, especially a blowout, quoting a per 36 was a joke since it's about as telling as 1 +/- in garbage time of a blowout.

Humor not allowed does not compute.

Plan for injury. If it doesn't happen you win. If it does happen at least you've got a Plan B.

    IMO

The consistent knock on him over the years has been he looks lost or clueless out there.

He looked fine to me last night. Not lost out there.

Sure he was playing against scrubs on a bad team, but he did some smart things and scored 6 points in 10 1/2 minutes, drew fouls, and grabbed boards.

The announcers mentioned his smart plays a few times. Like recognizing a mismatch and going to the hole to score.

That said, if we can trade him for a $7M player who contributes, that would be fine.

What should "we" do about Meyers? Easy, spend less time worrying about what do do about a problem that doesn't exist. The guy is now a 4th stinger and people are criticizing his play in the 4th quarter of a 48-point blowout.

Seriously, I could have played the entire 4th quarter last night and "we" still would have won by 30+ points. Where's my "What should we do with BNM" thread? I'm feeling a little left out right now guys...
