Are you serious? Some people's hatred for Meyers is SO STRONG that they still get pissed while up 50 when he doesn't even do anything blatantly bad? This shit is ridiculous. I'm not a Meyers defender by any means, but to complain/get mad about him doing stuff in garbage time is ridiculous. You better get mad at C.J. Wilcox when he fucks up in garbage time too. When I saw Meyers last night I couldn't help but think that the only reason he was on the floor "even during garbage time" was because of Collins DNP.
I also wonder sometimes if there are other teams that feel this way about one of their players......I am sure but it would be interesting to hear who and why!
mmm AFAIK Swanigan played PF next to Davis who played Center. Meyers only plays Center these days right? Meyers should have had at least 60 DNPs last season, Stotts is probably one of the only few coaches in the league who would still give him the opportunity.

Say we have a two way contract for a player who happens to be worth something. I mean we kept roster spots open for a reason and now we sign a player who might turn into something. If we know Meyers doesn't fit and he's plateaued developing but we keep him anyway, isn't that counter productive? The whole point is to build from within and build a system to compete..... My point is at what point does Meyer's roster spot become more valuable to expedite his trade. I guess it doesn't matter if Olshey rides the contract out and just takes the loss.
If we traded him for a $6.5 mil player who didn't play, that would put us under the tax, and Neil would be a genius. I don't think we'll get this lucky, but a man can hope.
It doesn't hurt anything at all... How is a Meyers taking up the 14th roster spot hurting us when we have two more open??? There isn't 3 guys out there that will help our team contend for a championship...
