It is hilarious, I wouldn't pay too much attention to reviewers who try to define what is and is not how a drama is supposed to go. Movie reviews generally blow anyway.
I thought, Out of Africa was great when it came out. I probably couldn't sit through it today with both Redford and Streep in it.
I don't care one bit about any actor's political views. I don't care if Tom Cruise is a Scientologist or Mel Gibson is racist. I don't care what any of them say whether I agree with it or don't. They produce a product, no more no less.
Redford made the wrong side by making such a foolish sailing movie here a few years back. A damn disgrace to all competent sailors. I have this idea, I show up in Still Water cove with the MarAzul. That's in Carmel bay right under the 18th hole at Pebble beach, find Eastwood at the Hogsbreath or where ever, and we talk about making a credible Ancient Mariner, single handed sailing story.
