<div class="quote_poster">NTC187 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Well I decided to go and pick up the PS3 I preordered today, as after yesterday when I got my braces on, and went to pay, the lady told me that the Hi Caps (Health Insurance) were giving it all back to me ($800 ), plus I'm getting about $700 back from Tax Return soon, so I thought why the hell not. Really only cost me $800 for the actual console, as I got a $200 worth a controller and game (Call Of Duty 3) for free, so I saved $200 on buying it now. I'm still questioning wether or not I did the right thing, but in a few months time I wont really care (like over paying for a new Computer I bought), lol. I guess I can always sell it on eBay and make most of if not all of that money back if need be, which is what I always use to justify big purchases, lol.</div> We ended up getting a PS3 today with Need for Speed Carbon and Marvel Alliance. Quite a piece of machinery isn't it.
Yeah, I think its worth the $1000 price tag, its basically a computer (60GB hard drive, plays DVDs / BluRay, can surf the internet, store music, movies, photos etc. etc.), and a PC will cost you upwards of $1500 as is, so its pretty kool. I love the fact you can turn it on / off using the wireless controller, makes it like a TV, and I no longer have to get out of bed to turn the bloody thing off, lol. Also my USB Logitech controller for my PC works on the PS3 too, so I've got 3 controllers which is good. I just cant wait for Madden and NBA Live 08.
