I get that these guys want to play, but they clearly don't see the long game. You don't fuck with your knees.
Although I'm not saying the players are on par with them, in a way it's like Beverly is Ruben Patterson (minus the whole attempted rape thing) and Damian is Kobe (minus the whole attempted rape thing AND insane killer mentality).
Ain't looking good for him. That's too bad, you can't wish injuries on anyone. You'll take it, but it's soooooooooooo much sweeter to potentially beat a full-strength team, especially when the now-injured guy was talking shit.
I remember some Blazer fans warning thedreamshake.com fans about this. They pretty much laughed and said,"BS, you just wish. Lillard/Blazers just don't want to play against a healthy Bev." Intense playoff defense with a meniscus tear = not a good idea. I wonder what Bev was saying to Lillard near the bench when he twisted his ankle on Howard's screen (which only turned out to be a bruised thigh, whew!) I think Lillard was just amused, can't rattle Mr. Sub-Zero.
I don't think people gave two shits about playing us with injury. In the end, the last game you play is the game that's remembered the most. We have an opportunity to do something very special. I could give two shits who is injured.
Usually I want a fair and even field, but pat bev is as bitch as they come and I dont give two shits if he is done for the season. The nba is worse with players like beverley. I feel kinda bad saying this but gotta remind myself that as annoying as Bowen was, he played real, bev is just a fake pos.

I don't know if Beverley did it to every other PG he played... but he literally stuck to dame like glue at every in bounds play... and just bumped and bumped... and then was shocked when the ref would actually say knock it off... stop impeding his progress. Can't phase dame though.
Exactly. You, me, and others here have posted about the danger of Beverley trying to play on damaged meniscus. I hope they didn't just ruin Beverley's career by letting him play, because that wasn't a healthy Beverley we saw tonight, even before he got torched by Lillard and hobbled off of the court.
