    Lillard-34 / Frazier-10 / (McCollum)-4
    Henderson-24 / McCollum-24
    Davis-28 / Plumlee-20
    Aminu-28 / Harkless-20
    Leonard-28 / Vonleh-20

Of course, the SG, SF, C, & PF positions all might flip... depending upon who "steps up!"

I think one of the most intriguing questions going into camp will be Davis vs. Biebs vs. Plumlee. I have a feeling 2 of the 3 will start, but which 2? I like Davis and Plumlee, but that doesn't give us a lot of shooting in the starting lineup.

Of course Kersey, Buck, and Duckworth weren't the best shooters in the world either.

    Knowing Stotts, it's gonna be:

    Dame
    Hendo
    Aminu
    Davis
    Plumlee

Maybe Leonard will get the start though. I guess we'll see.

I finally got to see a replay of the Dallas game and I would have to agree. Crabbe looked solid on O and D. He also looks like he added some muscle. The rookie will have to wait his turn because Crabbe is getting minutes.

Yup. I'm sold. I want to see what the kid can do. Hendo is a decent starter but he doesn't fit stotts system the way crabbe does.

This is tough at this point because none of the 3 bigs I would start can shoot. (Aminu, Plumlee and Davis) So either Davis needs to come off the bench or Aminu does. I would consider doing this:

    Dame, Frazier
    Henderson, CJ
    Crabbe, Aminu
    Davis, Vonleh
    Plumlee, Leonard

However if Vonleh is not ready I would put Harkless in to the mix at SF and move Aminu over to PF. Otherwise these guys are all waiting for the injuries to occur:
    Harkless, Connaughton, Kaman, Montero

I just saw the Olive article from this morning about Crabbe. I guess he is bigger. I wonder if he and the Blazers are thinking SF......

"Crabbe ended the season weighing a shade below 210 pounds. In two months, he's added seven pounds and altered his frame, adding bulk to his upper body and strength to his base. His goal is to get to between 220-25 pounds before the start of training camp in October."

I just don't see it. I think crabbe is the starting two. I think aminu is the three. Maybe leonard and Davis?

Stotts needs to take his "system" and shove it up his ass. We can't play like spot up shooters next year.

    How about this:

Start Dame/CJ/Crabbe/Leonard/Plumlee. Those are the guys who might be part of the future, so see what they can do.

Davis is a PF who can play center in a small ball line-up. Aminu is a SF who can play PF against some match-ups. Henderson is a SG who could play some small-ball SF. Find a reliable back-up at PG, and you have a deep, versatile bench.

Make Baseball Pat, Vonleh, and Harkless earn their minutes.

The Warriors just won the championship shooting threes. It sure looks like Neil is trying to replicate their setup.

I don't hate your youth movement lineup. Especially if Henderson goes down with an injury. But I think if he is healthy he needs to start. And for CJ to get minutes at SG (Where he plays best) then Crabbe needs to play SF.
He started their last year when Batun went out and he is already a good 15 lbs bigger than Nic. I could not find his measurements but they said at 6'6" he had long arms.......

It seems there will be one wing who will have to start the season getting very few minutes. But it is a long season and injuries will occur. They will all get their chance.

But then he better switch it after two games once he realizes we're averaging 70 ppg because of the complete absence of spacing.

We don't have the shooting necessary to do that. We can run a little bit, but we are going to have a hard time scoring. It's going to be ugly.

    Dame
    CJ
    Crabbe
    Leonard

Aminu shot pretty well during the playoffs.

Crabbe's shooting was mediocre last year. CJ and Leonard aren't volume shooters so I would discount them.

And Damian was horrid at the end of last year. Hopefully that was an anomaly.

Dame was horrid because he fucked up his fingers. Someone posted stats that showed how his shooting progressively got worse after the fall that hurt his hand. Or, you know, he just suddenly became a horrible shooter after being a dead eye for two years.

True that Dame is not quite as good as Steph. No one is. But other than Curry and Klay the Warrior outside shooters are not anything special. And Klay disappeared during the finals.

It would seem you can't play Plumlee and Davis together much just because they would both be within 5' of the basket. So Plumlee/Leonard and Davis/Vonleh is more in balance even though Davis will be undersized at center but probably not too often against 2nd string bigs.

    Dame - 34 / CJ - 14
    Hendo - 30 / CJ - 18
    Aminu - 28 / Harkless/Crabbe - 20
This is a tough one because one of these guys isn't going to get minutes.
    Leonard - 28 / Vonleh - 20
    Plumlee - 26 / Davis - 22

As of now, that leaves scrap minutes for Frazier, Connaughton, Montero, Harkless or Crabbe and Kaman unless there is a big backup center. All of those young guys that do get minutes are getting a good chance to develop and see what they've got....exactly what you want from this season. After the All-Star game, I can see Lillards minutes even being cut back a bit as it likely won't matter much but yet he had his chance to make the All-Star game in the 1st half of the season.
