Theatre Blazers will trade for Lowry and complain that CJ won't get any playing time. Oh I guess we'll do that anyway.

Except that Lowry is actually a point guard.... and CJ is actually a shooting guard.

To give you a perspective…. Price gave up -12.7 PER, and Nolan Smith only gave up -6.7

That perspective gives me a headache...lol. I always thought of Williams as the better shooter but since he and Lowry are essentially the same, give me the one with much better defense and who gets teammates better shots. Who knows....T-Rob might get a lob at the rim or Wright and open look....when he is actually open. The possibilities are endless. :ghoti:

I would start my package with Mo Williams and Meyers Leonard add in Allan Crabbe or Claver if need be.

Yeah he does that. I'll shoot him a text.

You may be right that he's changed over time, but he is in a contract year, so if we ask him to become a role player he may be disinclined to acquiesce to our request.

There are a lot of long words in there, and we're not but humble pirates.

Or he might see it as a chance for teams to notice him during the Playoffs. What better way to earn a big contract than by helping a team go deep in the POs?
Honestly, I'm not worried about whether or not he wants to come here. The biggest hurdle is putting together a trade package that TOR would accept.

Then I'm relieved you're not the GM.

I definitely wouldn't make a move for him unless he assured Neil that he was okay with coming off the bench.

It would be stupid to just trade for the guy without considering chemistry.

By that I meant I think he'd rather have a 6th-man role on a contender (if he considers us a contender) than a lead role on a lottery team. Of course if I was the GM I would talk to his agent. But based on my point that a role on a Playoff team would likely net him a better contract than a starting role on a NBADL team, "I'm not worried about whether or not he wants to come here." Essentially, if given the option of playing for the Blazers or Raptors, I think he'd choose to play for us. So, that's not what concerns me. If we want him, I'm more concerned with whether we could realistically get him.

I would not give up Leonard. Never trade big for small.

No worries - Leonar_ is the smallest 7' in the league!

BTW, didn't trading Wallace for Lillard cost us about a foot?
