    Hinrich + re-signed Duhon + #1 for Wade + #2 works

    That's a slam dunk.

If that's true, then I'm fine with it. Draft Beasley in the process.

    Getting a Shooting Guard.

Suns need a center then a PG

Rod Benson's coming to the Suns' training camp! He was nasty in the D-League, and impressive at the Raptors' FA camp. Could be a steal for the Suns.

Prolly the Bulls not drafting Rose...then not trading Gordon or Hinrich (if we do draft Rose) to try and get a solid Center

I'm going to be happy if the Bulls take Beasley or Rose.

I'll throw something at the TV if Pax trades the pick to move down in the draft or makes another Aldridge for Thomas type draft-day deal.

Thanks, is there just a Bulls supporter sig? Cuz I'm a Whitesox fan and the bears have been a let down lol.

And who do you think we should trade to go after a center? I'd try to trade gordon and hinrich to try and get a center and try to get a quality backup PG

Post in the GFX forum and someone will make you a custom fan bar.

I don't think the Bulls should trade for a center. I'm satisfied we have it handled decently with Gooden and Noah.

What I do think is that a deal with Miami is crying to be done. Miami takes Beasley so they have no need for Marion anymore. We pick up Marion for Hinrich and Thomas.

    This leaves us with:
    Rose/Gordon/Thabo/Hughes at guard
    Marion/Deng/Nocioni/Thabo at forward
    Gooden/Noah at center

    I think we'd be a solid team, 10 deep.

IMO I think thomas has too much potential to trade. If he puts on muscle and gets a post game, he's a shorter version of dwight howard. But have you heard that Elton Brand might be comin back to us?

Drafting a point guard...okay, we were prepared for that...and I have Derrick Rose as the #1 on my pick em'.

Eh, just one more mistake to blast Paxson for...well at least this time the player will be pretty good, and not suck like Tyrus Thomas.

I'm not a drinker of the Thomas kool-aid. He's like a 5 PPG / 5 RPG player and he's still a really big project player.

Marion is the star player we don't have, and is a fine PF. Gooden averaged 14/9 for us in about 30 minutes/game; I expect he'd be 17/10 in 36 minutes/game, and he can score in the post nicely.

Hinrich's salary alone isn't enough to swing a deal for Marion, so someone like Thomas would have to be included. Another possibility would be to re-sign Duhon and include him in the trade, but there's no real incentive for Duhon to do it.

Miami would have a use for Thomas more than we do. They'd have Haslem and Beasley and Thomas (maybe Zo) as their bigs.

Brand is a roll of the dice. Will he come back from his injury? Will he be the same player? Will he be shy from contact for fear of getting hurt again?

He's also on the short side at 6'8".

Yea, and Im not big on undersized big men, but Brand is a proven low post presence. And I believe the only reason why Ty has those numbers is because he didn't get a good amount of playing time under Skiles/Boylan.

Marion is the star that we need, but just like Brand, Marion is a good PF, but he is undersized at the position (isn't he like 6'7?).

I just want a proven big man that is going to help the development of Noah and Thomas, not saying Gooden is bad, but maybe someone who can command double teams.

But then again, what is the style that Vinnie wants us to play? Is he going to go for the D'Antoni 7 seconds or less or something else? Thats really the only thing that has me worried on us drafting Rose, because it depends on what type of style that Del Negro is going for.

I remember Thomas was the starter game 1 and played his way out of the starting lineup.

ESPN saying the Bulls have told them they're taking Rose.

Yea I just heard it on the radio. But like one of the guys said, Im waiting to hear it from David Stern.

And something I was thinking about, if the Heat draft Beasley do you think that would open up a trade for Marion? Ive heard that Beasley is similar to Marion...

+ the Nets drafting any Lopez. Or the Nets taking a useless big...when we could've gotten Hickson or Hibbert.

Or, the Nets passing on Bayless and Westbrook, when they're still on the board. I would only throw one thing if it was Gallinari.
