For once in his life, Paul Pierce has a point. The Rockets have been on a TEAR since Sengun went down. Maybe this IS the way they should play. I'm pretty sure they WON'T trade Sengun, but if they did, would you want to make a play for The Turkish Baby Sabonis?

(If I was the Rockets I'd want to get an athletic shotblocker as part of their return.)

    Depends on his physical.

If it checks out I’d give them the trove of picks

Trading away any pick in this years draft ain’t saying much.

We’d probably have to trade both sharpe & picks.

Sengun is good, but the Blazers giving up lots of value to acquire him wouldn't make much sense... he's on a rookie deal and he's young (in addition to being a darn good scorer) but (a) the Blazers aren't one Sengun away from being good, (b) the Blazers are already locked into Ayton for a while, they're only four years difference in age, and I don't think they would play together very well.

We need to draft a guy like Sengun, rather than giving up value to acquire him and then giving him a big second contract.

How else are we supposed to get the new shiny object, if we don't over trade for him?
