My wife is doing a sourdough start that’s supposedly 100 years old. We’re pretty excited about it

Harvested several varieties of kale, garlic scapes, and strawberries. Making salad. Add a few pecans and shaved Parmesan.

Neighbors having rough time. One has multiple myeloma and in hospice because she is past treatable. Other trying to work and care for her hospitalized with urinary infection, out of hospital but can't work. They are vegans, excuse me, queer Buddhist vegans. Made chickpea noodle soup and vegan coffee cake to bring over.

I have both Blazers cookbooks. Recipes could be kindly described as uneven.

    Kapoong for dinner yesterday
It's Hmong curry chicken noodle soup. This time it also had pork.

Zucchini bread. Not soggy! Trick is shred zucchini, toss with a little sugar, drain and hour and squeeze.

    Yesterday made coconut pineapple pancakes.

Costco bratwursts tonight. Smothered in sauerkraut. With cabbage salad and baked beans on the side.

UghA. Not a zucchini fan. Anything in the gourd family I’m not a fan of.
