We’ve been through downtown (and uptown) Portland numerous times Since this all started. The scars are there from early on, but otherwise it’s normal (or as close to “normal” as Portland ever comes). Your niece’s friend works in the sole “target” left for the protestors. And it’s a target for relevant reasons. The protests were winding down and fading away until your Fearful Leader willfully and knowingly remade it into an even bigger target. But anyway, don’t let the right wing media scare you away from your hometown. You need to see what’s real and what isn’t for yourselves.......Unless you buy into the fear mongering.....

Id really like to see this all end soon before the election. BLM should try and conciliate a resolve to the late night antagonizers and those looking for fights, by moving the peaceful protest around the PDX area. Its important that the message doesn't get lost with the amped up media putting more focus on the late night skirmishes rather than BLM message.
