    Spot on. I've experienced the exact same thing whenever traveling since the first Trump clusterfuck. Plenty of people want to visit Oregon but they're leery of Portland, because..................because........They really can't articulate why other than Fox "news". But point out the deficiencies in their own home towns they all of a sudden have their hair on fire. Sucks to be them. And good for us.

    Property taxes have nothing to do with the City. The State enacted a law that creates that problem because property taxes can only go up 3% every year unless some renovations happened.

    The City and State switched to market based sourcing so it doesn't matter where the business is located and if they move to Vancouver or Tigard. It is where the customer is located. Which is what most other jurisdictions throughout the US follow now.

    Not only is it my wife and my anniversary tomorrow……the Fremont Fest is back FAMS! If you aren’t in the mood for that strip mall food court and want to soak up some really city culture…..I recommend you swing thru. Always a great time.
