I like Whole Foods. The best one is not the one in downtown Lake Oswego across from the Lake theater in the shopping center where I bought my first bicycle when I was ten nor is it in Tualatin. I like the one near Burnside in NW Portland. I hate paying for stuff, even food, and getting crap. Sure, I pay more at Whole Foods but I don't get ripped off and that goes a long way with me. Buy some pastry at Safeway. For everyday foods I go to Costco or Winco but for stuff that needs to be a cut above, I go to Whole Foods NW. As for Dr. Bronner's soap, I got introduced to that by one of my hippie friends and bought it when I was in my early and mid 20s. Loved it back then. Hell, I might try some the next time I go to Whole Foods. It's been half a century and I think it's about time.
There are about 750,000 residents in the city and about 2 1/4 Million residents in the metropolitan area. I wouldn't judge the mayor on the feelings of 200 people. I'd judge him at the ballot box.
There are no indications that he won't except fot those 200 disgruntled protestors. I'm sure every mayor, even the most popular ones, have some disgruntled voters.

Wheeler (and Brown) are certainly the issue from the point of view of the Clackamas and Washington County police departments, which have summarily defied the Governor's suggestion that they lend their assistance. They basically said that the elected officials have created an environment where police aren't supported and criminals aren't prosecuted, so there's no way they're sending their officers into that tempest. I can't blame them.
Divide and conquer. The Federal government funds a division among demonstrators. They always try that. For example, they created the Blackstone Rangers to harrass the Black Panthers.
So what if I cite links that show clear opposition to Ted Wheeler? Please explain this confirmation bias thingy to me in this context. New links, polls, petitions show up all the time. So what? I mean, even this recent local Portland article appears to be addressing this issue. Meanwhile, I've been maintaining all along that Ted Wheeler is an abject failure as Mayor of Portland, OR. Wheeler isn't the issue among Democrats, the big majority. Republican smokescreen. Any replacement of Wheeler will be similar.
