Both famously super-athletic, and one of them literally nicknamed "Crash". I'd also wager all the money I don't have both of them had significantly more minutes on them by the time they hit 30. Don't forget, RoCo wasn't really an NBA player until a few years after college. I think Wallace was among league leaders in minutes played when he was the Bobcats' star player.
"Chauncey rides RoCo like no other, talks real with Nurk (not harsh, but not coddling), and is quick to trust his assistants judgement."
Sounds like he is really tough on Roco. That doesn't seem to be working so maybe he should try something else; maybe sit down with him and ask if something is bothering him?
Yeah just the way Chauncey talks in pressers, I think Olshey has sold him on CJ being an all star level player that should be coached like he knows what he's doing. It's a fucking shame because CJ has said many times that he thinks he's an excellent defender and has talked about how he is underrated. The thing CJ needed most was a reality check and I don't think Chauncey is close to giving that to him. The actual thing that CJ needs most and we need even worse is for him to get a change of scenery.
how much longer is billups going to stick with this dude? dude is dogging it out there on both ends. is this some ploy to make sure he maintains his trade value??? because i feel like it's cratered as is and playing more isn't going to help. nance needs to be on for 25-30 mpg. we also had great success this season with him as small ball five. the injuries have forced billups to play zeller/snell more, but those minutes need to go to larry.
