Pops rests his best players a lot down the stretch...maybe Kerr..(ex Spur himself) is tweaking it and having his best players rest while playing

Come on now. Horace Grant was great in Orlando before he came to Chi. Rodman was great before and after. Pippen was great after.
You take one of those three guys out and Chi comes down to earth a bit as well.

Grant started in Chicago, won titles 91-93, and then went to Orlando.

Curry has regressed to his career averages, which are still pretty damn good. His PER and TS% are pretty much right at his career averages, as are his APG, RPG and STG. His PPG is above his career average.

Let's face it, last season he had one of the statistically greatest seasons ever. His TS% was the 2nd highest ever by an NBA PG and the 4th highest ever for a guard. The only players to ever have a higher PER are Wilt Chamberlain, Michael Jordan and LeBron James. To think that was sustainable was a little unrealistic.

Also, he never averaged close to 11 APG. The most he ever averaged was 8.5 APG back when Mark Jackson was coaching and running Curry into the ground by making 100% of the GSW offense run through Curry. He's averaging 6.3 APG this year, compare to 6.7 APG last year.
