This thread is just another hot take. No difference between those who say Lillard doesn't care because he's not scoring. Sad that I took the bait.
Imagine a group that used to be called "Cure Gayness Now". That's the problem. And it's possible to be both autistic AND an asshole. But I actually don't think Westbrook is either.
You misunderstood my post. I merely said that I wondered. If someone said “I wonder if Westbrook is bipolar,” I wouldn’t be offended in the least. I’m not a bad person. As for the Blazers, nothing is literally easy but they’ve won by double figures twice and have held the Thunder under 100 three times. This hasn’t been a close series at all. Hopefully, we close it out tomorrow. I’m confident we will.
You really need to understand more about autism before taking another ill advised big jump. As you say to others often, learn the game then post.
Also H.C.- we have led by 19, 22, and 19 points during our three wins. Could it be “easier” than that?
I think that's exactly what he's saying. That being different from the norm shouldn't be considered something "wrong" or something that needs to be "cured".
The National Institute of Health labels at a disorder. So not an illness (That was not the word I used in my first post. It was introduced by others). Again, Homosexuality is not a disorder either.
From NIH: “Autism is known as a “spectrum” disorder because there is wide variation in the type and severity of symptoms people experience. ASD occurs in all ethnic, racial, and economic groups. Although ASD can be a lifelong disorder, treatments and services can improve a person’s symptoms and ability to function. The American Academy of Pediatricsrecommends that all children be screened for autism. All caregivers should talk to their doctor about ASD screening or evaluation.” So you should be screened and there IS treatment which is what Autism Speaks is all about. No one should be screened for homosexuality or go to a doctor or be treated. It’s a terrible comparison.
Redirecting the heat you got for this thread onto him for that? You ignorantly speculate about someone's mental health over a 2-minute press conference and then try to claim that a parallel example for why an organization is bad is the most offensive things in here? Oh wait... You have me on ignore, and now you're starting to run wild. Damn.
I see no difference between not liking Russel Westbrook and not liking Raymond Felton or Kobe Bryant....all 3 are on my "don't like" list...and I'm not claiming to be a psychologist but I'm a fair judge of character.....body language and verbal symptoms say to me that Russ is a fuckin' nutjob
Even More so i see very little difference between Russel Westbrook saying "Next Question" as Sheed saying "CTC" or "Both Teams Played hard". Just because Rasheed Wallace played for Portland doesn't make him any more mature. What we are hearing from Blazer fans about Westbrook is exactly what every fan base across the nation was saying about Rasheed Wallace and the Blazers.
