Exactly. That's how the Kings front office thinks.

Derozen only has a year left, he'll get overpaid next summer, he's older and relies a lot on athleticism, he can't shoot, he's inefficient, and a below average defender.
Where as McLemore and Ross are young and developing, good shooters, at least average defenders, and we have more control over their contrace situations.

There was a player worse than him in college.

    http://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/deandre-jordan-1.html

DeAndre Jordan 7.6 points, 6 rebounds 1.5 blocks. Is he any good?

I love how pants-on-head retarded this thread has gotten.

Keep 'em coming, I need something to distract/entertain me in my last hour at work.

Always on the look out for a game-changing player. Right now we have a Big 1, not a Big 3. So, the plan is to have CJ or Biebs or Plumlee to become part of a Big 2. So, who do we get? Obvious possibilities are Derozan or Boogie or someone we haven't heard about. Then we'd have a big 3, and be a threat.

I think Davis and Aminu are basically our new Wes and Batum supersolid role players. I don't expect them to become part of a Big 3.

Yep. Dame/Vonleh will be the second coming of CP3/Griffin. And with the Alexander/Jordan comparisons...I think we all know where this is going.

LOL seriously! I was looking at the college stat comparison of Alexander and they are eerily similar to Jordan's stats.

I hope Vonleh has a bit more balls than Griffin though.

Last year they did not shoot very well. At least not from 2 pt range. I would not overpay for them that's for sure. It comes down to what type of player do we need at SG.

Last year we had a duplication of styles with Nic and Wes. We needed one of them to attack the rim better.
We know what we have with Dame, but who is the SF of the future? If it is someone who attacks..... than McLemore or Ross would be a good fit. But if it is just another 3 point shooter than maybe we have our SG already in Hendo. He is entering his prime so we have a solid 3 years out of him if healthy.

Plus I honestly think Crabbe can be as effective as Ross or McLemore.

Oops, forgot about Vonleh. Should have said CJ/Biebs/Vonleh/Plumlee.

In NO's wet dream, 2 of those players become part of our Big 3.

The way this roster has been framed for the next year. It wouldn't be anything sigificant. I however could get behind one of these two guard ideas. Probably Mclemore due to being 4 years younger than Derozan.

I wonder if the Knicks want to unload Calderons contract. Id trade out a future 1st, maybe a little more to take on Calderons contract with the right to swap picks with them no matter how high their pick falls. I wonder how much it'd take to get them to go for that.

Not sure I want Calderon. I'm down for McLemore or possible SGs that are young with upside.

We'd use the cap space to buy him out. I'd take him on and send stuff out for the opportunity to swap 1st rounders with New York
