BigMo, how long have you played a decent game on the PS3? Can you even give a fair judgment?
QUOTE

Agreed. Xbox Live is 100x better than whatever online crap Sony puts out. The 360 is being pushed into becoming more of a total media center instead of just a gaming console... something that I don't think the PS3 will be able to compete with down the line.
What makes XBox Live better?
Starting on Page 3, people arguing with me on why Xbox is better so you should find Xbox Live in there somewhere...I'm sure I asked why it was better somewhere in that argument.http://www.arizonasportsfans.com/vb/showth...1511&page=3
Most of the people who say the 360 is better, has never played more than a few minutes on the PS3. The best opinion to get is from somebody who owns both systems.I talked to alot of people who work at gaming stores, Circuit City, Best Buy, ect. 90% of the people I talked to have both systems, and they prefer the PS3. That's the true people who can give a fair judgment.

My friend owns a PS3 and I've played enough on PS3 to give a fair judgement. And read my post and you'll see a few reasons that make Xbox Live better than the "free" PS3 service...Plus, 360 has more/better console-exclusive games, and at this point I don't see that changing.
If your trying to decide you kinda have to decide based on the type of games you like. Xbox usually has better sports games and better shooter type games. Playstation always has the RPGs such as the final fantasy and the adventure games. Nintendo is mainly platform type games like mario. As of now there isnt much on ps3 or the wii so if you want one of those I suggest you wait awhile til theres a game your dieing to play. At least then you may get lucky and theyll be a drop in price of the system or the accessories. If you wanna buy a system now id go with the 360 becuz they have plenty of titles out already and halo 3 is getting close to its release date.I also suggest buying a extended warranty on these systems
I bought a ps2 today. I wanted to get one of the big 3 but I just dont have the money. I paid 70 dollars for it including nba 2k7,ff12,and soul caliber 2. I dont think that was a bad deal.

im not going to lie about PS3, I was playing 2k7, and the graphics were just downright amazing and beautiful. however I strongly recommend you to re invest in a xbox 360, theres like 3 games you could buy, and youd be hooked on for a good month on them alone. however, if you buy xbox 360 without live, its a waste of money.
I'm happy with finally having a ps2 again at the least. I've been playing ps1 for so long that it feels like ps2 just came out.
Sony just dropped the price of the 80 GB PS3 with HDMI output from $699 to $499 in North America because their sales are horrible... so if you're looking to get one, that's good news. I'm sure Microsoft will probably drop the price of the 360 in response if the sales of the PS3 increase...
The PS3 is just too advanced for its own good. I have a feeling its going to die early like the dreamcast. but at least dreamcast had REALLY good games, ps3 has sh*t.

They dropped the prices on all their models, and discontinued the 20GB model I think. And in other news, if you have a 360, we just got a free 3-year warranty from Microsoft.
