Funny, the first thing I thought of when I read ROUS was "Boozer?"

Callers who call Wheels are so annoying.

Instead of asking their question right away they kill the flow by saying "hey guys, how are you doing today?" and they wait for a response.

Here's his interview in a nutshell:

    "We like our guys"

"Roy and Aldridge will be Blazers for a long time"

"Well, we like our guys and feel like we don't need to make a move"

"We like our guys, so we'll see"

"We won 54 games last year, and we like our guys"

"I can't answer that, but what I can say is that we like our guys"

    Just having some fun. :ghoti:

Boy, that doesn't get old seeing every time there is a mention of a KP interview.

    What about:

"We're the driver's seat. We can keep our cap space until the trade deadline and make a lopsided trade if we wanted to. Other teams will be desperate."

"What I can tell you is that it's gotta be a special fit with us. We have a process, and we're gonna stick with that process. Sometimes I'll get all excited about something and then our guys Chad and Tom and Mike will reign me back in and that's good. We understand our timeline may not be aligned with what our fans expect and what the media expects. We're OK with that. We've built this thing up to where our fans want results, and ... listen ... we can deal with that pressure. We'd much rather have that pressure than the pressure of trying to improve a team that won 21 games. We won 54 games last year, and we expect to get better. We had four rookies playing major minutes, and Greg's gonna get better, Rudy's gonna get better, Nic's gonna get better, Jerryd is improving. It's a process. This isn't overnight. What I do know is we love our guys, and at the end of the day if these are the guys we're going into battle with, I'm OK with that."

    Awesome.

You missed: "We're not afraid to make deals, we're always looking to improve our team, but we're not going to make deals if they don't make sense"

Anyone catch the KP interview on 95.5 just now, and was it just the standard KP talk or did he say anything of value?

There will be no players added. That is basically what he said

    1. He likes Bayless, and has done what the team has asked in SL, but it is a process.

    2. Loves Cunningham

    3. Likes Pendergraph

    4. Him and Nate are lovers

    5. Doesn't know what Utah will do, but league sources say they will match

    6. They have until Saturday to match....all day Saturday

    7. Doesn't think Nate would mind going into the year with Pendergraph and Cunningham backing up LA

Wheels bashed people that are bashing KP

No players added huh. At this point, I guess we'd be happy just to keep our own players for a long period of time. "Let it bake!"

I think KP would love to add a player, but he refuses to want to give up anything to get one.

Yep. There is no way in hell a team is going to be willing to do anything with us at the deadline. Not to mention KP has never done anything big.

    Total failure.
