Hopefully he can finally start to get this under control - he's so damn good at his job - but you can't help but worry about his longterm health when you see him at Moda.
Wheels - if you read this, I have been listening to you since Wheels After Work back in my own Sacramento days. You are awesome, entertaining, super-knowledgable about hoops (and, unfortunately, wrestling ), and you call a game as good as anyone since Chick Hearn. Get better, be healthy. Rip City needs you!
He’s been a big guy for so long and is getting older. All those miles and being unhealthy is eventually gonna take its toll and I assume this is the outcome of his physical health over the years
Very sad. Wheels perhaps needs to really take some time off to evaluate his life and make the best choices for himself moving forward.
The Blazers should pony up and get Wheels with a trainer....few years back he lost a lot of weight but seems he's put it all back on and more.
