Well, I came home from class, and end up calling around to see if anyone got it early. End up calling Best Buy first because of the gift card. You wouldn't believe this but ours told me Thrusday. Two days after the actual release date. Call our Gamestop in the Mall, said tommorrow. Best bet so far is Gamestop. EBgames said tommorrow or Wednesday. Finally, just went to Wal-Mart since it's like a 10 minute drive. Kid didn't even know what NBA 2k7 was lol. So I'm just going to go to Gamestop tommorrow and pick it up for 29.99.
By the way, the $10 gift card offer from BestBuy is only if you order it online, as far as I could tell.EDIT: Oh yeah, I just read something that I thought was pretty cool... in next year's version (2k8) they will be including full trophy presentations and all that stuff when you win an award (MVP) and/or championship.

That's pretty cool. But I have a question: why would they release info about 2k8 if most people don't even have 2k7 yet?

Everyone will get a kick out of it, guaranteed.
So does the PS2 version of 2k7 have all the features mentioned in IGN and the commercials and stuff, or are some features only on Xbox 360? The Main feature I care about is the shooting form feature.
I know that the difference as far as signature additions is HUGE between current gen (XBOX/PS2) and next gen (XBOX 360/PS3). Example: I read that next gen has over 200 signature shots, while current gen only has 20. ::: hugs 360 :::
Me and Melanie went to Wal Mart today to pick it up and they told me Friday.I will grab it on Friday.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Tell us all the ps2 features incase I dont get this tomorrow, I will review it tomorz.</div> From what I read, it looks to be a basic 2k6 upgrade with rosters, couple new animations(not a lot like 360) and as CB said about 20 sig shots. I think they took out 24/7 though for ps2/xbox as it's not a listed feature. For the price, a upgrade of 2k6(which I enjoy) is good enough for me.

Over the weekend, my Gamecube stopped working, so I gave my brother about $150 to go and buy a new one (we have a shitload of games and I don't want them to go to waste). Well, yesterday (Monday), my bro and I were watching tv and we saw the NBA 2K7 commercial. You should have seen our faces... We were pissed 'cause I forgot that the game was coming out! We could have bought a PS2, but whatever. What's done is done. It doesn't bother me so much anymore because at least my NBA Live 06 isn't going to waste now, you know?
