    There wasn't an "Armageddon." I know you guys want to see the Bulls pay the tax as a sort of blood oath, but they shouldn't pay it for a sub like Asik. If they're going to pay it, they should do it for a true difference maker, ideally, either a #1 option or a player that you believe truly changes the championship equation.

    The Bulls paid the LT for Hinrich and only Hinrich. His $4M put them over. See how that works?

    I think the tax is paid due to the sum of all the players' salaries and other items that affect the cap situation.

    Maybe we think a $98M payroll should field us a better team? Yes! That's the ticket. From the horse's mouth, so to speak.

    I know that you think the Bulls FO are idiots. If you've convinced yourself that the Bulls paid the LT for Hinrich, I can see why you feel that way. Whatever.
