The no sex trick only counts for one day. Years of build up don't increase the talent.

He was our best defensive big against Memphis.

He really did check Marc better than either RoLo or LMA.

Yea, i also joined "Kaman Island".
Kaman is kind of a goofball+oddball but he got a ton of moves in the paint,he knows how to use his body well and he is a former all star who wants to be in Portland.

I believe he owns stocks in Mayers development last year and i believe he acted as a positive influence thus far.
Lets just keep him instead of getting a crappy 2nd rounder for him.

You think Kaman was tutoring Rolo? Rolo was on the team prior to Kaman. you know this right? Rolo was already our starting center when Kaman came. You know this right? Pretty tough for one bench vet to tutor a starting vet, dont ya think?
Rolo was supposed to have his own game...and he did. For a while.

I don't think he regressed in his abilities. Don't forget about his injury this year and the fact he was the only center in his first year.

    If Meyers can become an average rim protecting defensive center he should start. His shooting is elite. He will need to reduce fouls for that many minutes though. But if he can do those things (a very big if) we could roll with a lineup of;

    Meyers
    Aminu
    ???
    CJ
    Dame

With Meyers at center I really like the idea of Aminu playing PF. Gives us more shooting, athleticism and offense than the Golden State big men. That Blazer duo could defend two big men but also teams playing with a small ball PF.

I dont agree..Meyers is a natural 4. Sure he looks good against second string centers, but I dont see him holding his own as a starter at the five. But at the four, I love his game as a starter.

We have enough tall stacks of chairs to play the five, lets see who shines in camp.

if anything, BNM generally brings statistics to his arguments, not opinion.

honestly, blathering opinions are more your forte.

They'll throw his ass into the fire and give him enough minutes to show what he can or can't do. We'll know by the end of the season.

I would like to see Plumlee or Davis next to Meyers (with Vonleh working his way in down the road). It doesn't matter who you call the 4/5, just who they guard and who guards them.

IF!!!!! Vonley and Meyers can play defense, those two would give defenses fits with their range

Blazers are leading the league in buying dime stocks. Let's hope they get a good return on some of them. The last thing I want to read about is the Curse of Lamarcus Aldridge.

Damian would have a field day with the wide open lane. Meyers and Vonleh could turn Dame into a top 5 player, because you gotta pick between defending the lane or letting the bigs shoot wide open 3s... you either cover the bigs and let Dame get 27 and 6, split it and let him get 24 and 8, or pack the lane and let him get 21 and 10.

Your statement assumes that Lillard is guarding himself. Funny thing, on most teams the guards do exactly that, they guard. Ok, ok, a bit harsh, and I have read where Lillard wants to be better on D...yeah, lets see that happen..get Della to keep a shadow on and the bigs look great, dont they?
