Become a rock star. Mick Jagger is 80 and Ringo 84.

What Trump is doing isn’t politics. It’s grifting with a heavy dose of corruption topped with world class whining.

Well, I do know Canby. We’re going to have to work on Country-ing up his persona pretty hard.

    What Shaboid said.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

So, how come if I log in to the WiFi at the place we’re staying in Venice I get a notification that my ip address has been banned. Switch back to mobile and all is good. Did some Italian violate board rules or something?

We use a service that blocks IP addresses that spam the site. It's a list of 1000s of IP addresses so if you can get the IP address you're having problems with I can probably unblock it.

But, and I'm being serious, if you have the data I would only use mobile on your vacation. Using a local wifi is an invitation to be spied on and your personal information compromised.

It's generally not recommended to use public Wi-Fi while traveling because it can be unsafe:

    • Unsecured networks
Public Wi-Fi networks in hotels, airports, and cafes are often unencrypted, making it easy for cybercriminals to intercept data.

    • Risk of identity theft
Hackers can collect information from your online activity to steal your identity.

    • Risk of bank account theft
Cybercriminals can intercept your banking details and take over your accounts.

    • Risk of malware
Unsecured networks can distribute malware that can lead to data breaches, identity theft, or device damage.
If you need to use Wi-Fi while traveling, you can:

    • Use a VPN
A virtual private network (VPN) encrypts your data and creates a private connection between your device and the websites you visit.

    • Use a data plan
You can purchase a data plan to use on your phone.

    • Use apps that work offline
Some apps, like translation apps, conversion apps, and maps, can work without a connection.

    • Avoid sensitive transactions
Don't use hotel Wi-Fi to access banking services, make online purchases, or enter sensitive information.

Remember going to The Spinning Wheel with my Aunt/Uncle when I turned 21. They were friends with Pat Pattee from KISN radio. It wasn't my kind of place however.

I laugh at my musical peers my age that think they are gonna become a rock star. Like anyone becomes a rock star at our age.

The individuals you listed became rock stars in thier 20's and somehow managed to find the fountain of youth, but they didn't become rock stars at 80 and 84. I try to be realistic with my music. Odds are much better I improve my engineering skills enough I can go into business for myself as a recording producer.
