The longest streak I could find (since 1984) was Minnesota who was bounced 7 years in a row from 1997-2003. Our streak is currently at 6. And we had a streak of 6 in a row from 1993-1998. I'm sure Portland has the most 1st round losses of any other team since 1984, 16 1st round exits vs advancing 6 times.

Or you could spin it in a positive way and say we have made the playoffs more than 75% of the other teams in the league.

Yes, but making the playoffs is not a huge feat in and of itself. It just means we're the kings of mediocrity.

When I see a blown call, I'll complain. As of now it's the wrong attitude to get back to the playoffs fearing refs. No Lakers, No Celtics, No Knicks, No Pistons in the playoffs, it's a new age in the NBA and the powers have shifted. I say we sweep the fucking Rockets and make em all wrong with their doom and gloom approach.

Hoojacks made a great point above. If Portland can't be more physical and more aggressive then they have been in there previous matchups. That will be there issue and not the reffing.Lets face it this is a finesse team . Atleast everything we have seen. They need to change that if they expect to get calls.

There are 75% or more of the leagues teams fans that would LOVE to have OUR historic "mediocrity".

Having lived with a torn meniscus before I had it removed, I can assure you he has some serious swelling this morning.

I would be very surprised if front offices haven't had discussions with the League about Houston's flopping during the year. It's not like the NBA isn't aware of it.

Our playoff seeding isn't locked yet. If it comes to us playing HOU, all we have to say to the League is that we're going to be quite vocal about flopping if it isn't addressed in a game, and fines are no object. There is a rule against flopping and we expect it to be enforced.

Nobody ever denied his ability to dribble in an empty gym. What I question is his ability to dribble against a defender or two.

lmao I was like lmao at the saltiness in this thread.

    "oh mummy the Rockets flop"

How convenient that you just choose to ignore the complete blown calls game after game on Dwight.

Slightest touch on the defensive end? FOUL ON DWIGHT OMG NEARLY FLAGRANT.

People hanging off his elbows as he goes for a shot? I didn't see any contact.

hahahaha what a mentality you have. The excuses have already started and your saviour Dame hasn't even cried yet about Beverley exposing him.

This is going to be great. The Portland Trailblazers. Where Rockets make the second round of the Playoffs happen.

Yep. You guys are killing it lately. You let Luke Babbitt score more in three quarters last night than he did in three years with the Blazers.

I'd be more concerned about teams we face in the Playoffs then a game we couldn't be bothered playing.

But you're right. We are killing it.

Or more like Harden is killing old mate Wes. Hopefully he learnt after his two games this year where he tried to act all tough and get in our players' faces - he should just go back to being the average role player he is and not try to mess with the big dogs. Because they bite.

This is going to be a brutal series.

Over/Under of Harden averaging 34 a game? I'd take the 1.04 odds of over time and time again. easy money

    Serious question though.

When you guys were the talk of the league and having a fairytale season and could do no wrong - the Rockets were getting hammered over and over.

On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being you're about to jump off the cliff edge - what level of suicide are you on now that regardless of the above. you finished BEHIND us.

Sorry my youtube channel can only watch one video at a time.

Currently I'm watching the greatest Blazer ever winning a championship his first year in Houston.

Edited and deleted your youtube clip huh?

I guess the championship comment must have stung a little too much .
