Some funny stuff about Wicks. Every year he played in the NBA, his scoring went down. And August 4, 1978: Traded by the Boston Celtics with Kevin Kunnert, Kermit Washington and Freeman Williams to the San Diego Clippers for Tiny Archibald, Marvin Barnes, Billy Knight, a 1981 2nd round draft pick (Danny Ainge was later selected) and a 1983 2nd round draft pick (Rod Foster was later selected). So Wicks was sold to Boston, then traded to the Clippers with Kunnert and Washington, of which both got sent to Portland (in compensation for signing Walton). And then Wicks played, again, with Walton...who later was a Celtic and played with Danny Ainge, who later signed with Portland.
