    I really don't think we have much to gain by holding onto Mike James ... Guy takes up too much ball pain and simple ... He'd make a great 6th man or more of an off guard but he's not looking to take that role so he can't really fit into the gameplan in toronto.

    I think if we trade for a guard we should we could do ourselves a favour by getting someone who plays behind a starter on their team but is good enough to fill the gap for us for at least a little while .. maybe permanently. Shaun Livingston (if cassell resigns with LA) and Jeff McInnis come to mind ... not sure how realistic either of those are but i thiought i'd throw it out there....

    <div class="quote_poster">Quoting deception:</div><div class="quote_post">cause rashard lewis is better than mike james, plus mike is a shoot first, second, ..... combo guard. this is what i envision...

    raps trade charlie v, joey graham, jose caledron for luke ridnour and rashard lewis. in free agency we acquire bobby jackson to back up at the point. here's how our team looks

    luke ridnour, bobby jackson (pg)
    mo. pete. (sg), roko ukic (combo)
    rashard lewis, pj tucker (sf)
    bosh, k. humpries (pf)
    rasho, bargnani, garbosa &copy;

    this team wins 45 games.</div>

    trading young players with big upsides like villenueva and borderline upand comers like graham and calderon for more established veterans makes sense for a team thats on the cusp of doing something special. thats raptors don't fall under that category. Why in the world would the raps trade 3 young players, especially charlie, for short term help?

    awful trade

    The Clippers are not giving up Shaun Livingston and the only person they would want from us for him would be Chris Bosh... yea, that's what I thought.

    Jeff McInnis, where's he been? Has he done anything lately? I would think there's a reason all the teams taht gave him a chance quickly found out the truth and haven't played him or gave him up.

    both ridnour and lewis are in there mid 20's, they have room to grow. the trade boils down to this- we're trading unproven talent for a little bit of more proven talent.

    ^^my thoughts exactly...its not as if ridnour and lewis are old men on the downside of their careers. shard is in his prime, and ridnour is comming into it.
